Your Tranquil Moments c.i.c. is passionate about supporting parents in providing the best possible start for their children. My purpose is to promote joyous, close bonds in order for you to achieve Your Tranquil Moments, as you take your first steps into parenthood and throughout your parenting journey in the early years.

Health is not merely physical. It also considers emotional and social wellbeing which is often neglected to be addressed in the public sector. At Your Tranquil Moments it is my aim to provide you with practical, non-judgmental support and advice which promotes emotional and social wellbeing of your baby from the time in utreo.

Your Tranquil Moments offers a verity of services utilising evidence based research to support you in providing the best possible start for your baby’s life, optimising their future outcomes.

Based in Blackpool. I support families throughout the Fylde coast and Lancashire.

Baby massage

Baby massage is when a parent or primary carer lovingly interacts with their baby through the use of touch strokes.  Massage provides a wonderful experience and intimate time to communicate both verbally and non-verbally with your babies, so that they feel loved, valued and respected. The IAIM baby massage course draws from both the Indian and Swedish massage traditions, as well as incorporating principles from yoga and reflexology.

Four of the main areas of benefit include:

  • Interaction and bonding
  • Relaxation
  • Relief
  • Stimulation

Baby yoga

Babies have open hearts and minds and our ready to embrace new experiences. They are eager for communication and interaction. Their bodies are flexible and unfolding. Yoga provides the stimulation of touch, movement and rhythm as well as the stillness of deep relaxation.

The loving handling of babies during yoga sessions and the shared enjoyment of the experience for both parent/carer and baby promotes early bonding and creates a secure and happy foundation of well-being.

Birthlight baby yoga is unique in emphasizing that the most beneficial form of stimulation for babies comes simply from their parent/carer: their voice, facial expressions, touch, responsiveness and highly sensitized and responsive movement opportunities afforded by parents’/carers’ bodies! -when they tune in to bodily awareness.

Baby yoga provide the perfect follow on from baby massage and continues as they grow and develop.
